Harrington to Dunmore: the transports with the cavalry have arrived in the river [Thames]. The dragoon officers in England have been ordered to Flanders. The king wishes Dunmore to remain a while in Flanders, and the earl of Rothes will be sent to assist him. The Hessian cavalry is to be joined with the British under Dunmore's command. He encloses a letter from Mr. [Stephen] Poyntz [SP 87/20/72] regarding Cumberland's horses, and an extract of one from Mr. Alt [SP 87/20/73] regarding his orders from Cassell.
