Description: |
Dunmore to Harrington: his thanks for the remittance of money. The dispositions agreed in SP 87/20/23 were not made, and the French have crossed the Brussels canal and cut communications between that place and Antwerp. They are now firing on Brussels. Another thaw has come, but he fears that the convoy will be without an escort. He encloses a paper of intelligences from Boulogne [SP 87/20/36]. The prince [Frederick] of Hesse will leave shortly for Willemstad, and Dunmore for Breda. Dated at Antwerp. ff. 57, 58 |
