Description:

Cumberland to Chesterfield, enclosing a list of the standards and colours taken at the battle [Lauffeldt] [SP 87/23/4]. Return of prisoners, including Ligonier, on parole. Ligonier's conversations with Saxe and the king. Saxe's message to Cumberland, written down and signed by Ligonier [SP 87/23/5], and his reply [SP 87/23/6]. He has informed the Dutch and Austrians. He encloses his list of officer recommendations for the highland regiment to be raised for Dutch service [SP 87/23/7]. A report that the siege of Genoa has been lifted. The French say that their St Domingo fleet has arrived safely. Dated at headquarters at 'Rycholt'. ff. 6-8
