Marlborough to Boyle: the three regiments in the Isle of Wight intended for Spain. Pomeranian troops for the service of the allies. He encloses letters from Admiral Sir John Norris [SP 87/116, 117] and Major General Seissan [SP 87/115]. He concurs with Norris's estimation of Seissan, and asks how he is to treat him. Progress of the siege under Fagel and Schulenburg. Dated at camp at Villers-Brulin. PS. in Marlborough's hand that the queen be shown the enclosures ff. 233-235 |
