Marlborough to Secretary Lord Sunderland: he regrets that the Viennese court is so obstinate against its own interest; he encloses what he wrote to Count Wratislaw the previous week [SP 87/3/28]. He has sent another copy to Mr. Palmes in Turin. The Prussians, Hanoverians and the Maas garrisons have come and encamped on the other side of the town. He will advance to Enghien, where he will be joined by the English forces from Flanders. Dated at Brussels. ff. 56, 57 |
