Marlborough [to Harley]: he hopes to have recovered from the ague in time to greet the king of the Romans. He encloses an intercepted letter from the elector to the electress of Bavaria [SP 87/2/76], and another from the electress to himself [SP 87/2/77]. He doubts that the empire will negotiate with the elector until Ingolstadt and the other garrisons have fallen. The elector is marching to Brabant with his troops, which probably do not exceed 3,000 men. Dated at camp at Weissenburg. ff. 149, 150
