Description:

The DW series contains papers created as a result of implementation of Part IV of the Agriculture Act 1970. This includes the implementation of EC directives on undesirable substances in animal feeding stuffs and the establishment of common methods of analysis and labelling provisions. The file series passed to the Chemical Safety Food Division, Branch B in the mid 1980s.

All files in the DW series were closed on 31 March 2000 as a result of the establishment of the Food Standards Agency on 1 April 2000
