  • The Architectural Association (AA) was founded in London in 1847 by a group of young articled pupils and has since developed into one of the most important and influential architectural schools in the world. The AA Archives works to preserve examples of the Association's administrative history, material culture and intellectual output. Archival descriptions are currently available covering the AA's core governance and administrative records, 1847-2005. As cataloguing progresses it is anticipated that descriptions of the entire Archive's collections will be made available on the Archives Hub
  • The AA Archives' holdings are particularly strong in the field of architectural education and include an extensive collection of student portfolios, posters, graphic work and architectural models dating from 1847 to the present
